for starters, make sure you are using the latest version mac os x tiger, right now is at 10.4.9. this way we’re sure isync is at version 2.4. a little warning though, i don’t have an e65, so i can’t try this by myself, but i’m pretty sure it will work. if it doesn’t, just let me know what happened with details like the error messages.

firstly, make sure you could connect to the internet using your e65. refer to your network provider instructions to do this. the next step is to download the nokia 3G modem script from ross barkman’s home page. just find “Scripts for Nokia 3G (EDGE/UMTS) phones (17kB)“, download it, and then put the modem scripts into /Library/Modem Scripts folder. make sure you also read the included readme file.

Basically i'm gonna be somewhere for a while and there's no phone line there. I was thinking if i could use the so called modem feature of my Nokia 3200 to connect my pc to the internet.
This was my original plan. I have lots of minutes and unlimited nights and weekend. My perception was to take advantage of this to connect to a dail-up isp as if i'm using a regular modem and phone. I've searched the web for this and it's got my mind all screwed up.
Whenever i'm dailing it says hardware failure, sometimes it says something like "the connected modem has ended the session or sumtin similar". Somehow i'm guessing it doesn't use out of my munites but uses the data usage.(sumtin like gprs where u pay like 3cents per kilobyte or sumtin). Is there a way i can get this thing going fast cos i'm dead without the web.
I'd rather it be part of my munites :)

1. Copy file UpdateSierraPPC2003.cab ke pocket PC anda (bisa melalui infra red, bluetooth atau cradle)

2 Pilih Instalasi Driver DKU-5
3 Hubungkan Handset dengan port USB
4 Saat ada pesan “found new hardware” dan ditanyakan drivernya, pilih detect automatically (CD DKU-5 tetap harus berada di CD ROM)
5 Kabel DKU-5 telah terinstall di PC Anda
6 Install driver modem Nokia
7 Instalasi Driver Modem Nokia 6225
8 Download file Modem Driver untuk Nokia 6225 (nmpCDMA2000_1x.inf).

Hp ini juga menggunakan kabel data DKU-5
1 Masukkan CD Instalasi DKU-5 dari Nokia (jangan hubungkan ponsel dengan USB komputer terlebih dahulu)
2 Pilih Instalasi Driver DKU-5
3 Hubungkan Handset dengan port USB
4 Saat ada pesan “found new hardware” dan ditanyakan drivernya, pilih detect automatically (CD DKU-5 tetap harus berada di CD ROM)
5 Kabel DKU-5 telah terinstall di PC Anda
6 Install driver modem Nokia
7 Instalasi Driver Modem Nokia 6225
8 Download file Modem Driver untuk Nokia 6225 (nmpCDMA2000_1x.inf).

1 Pilih Program > Control Panel > Phone and Modem Options
2 Pilih tab Modem, klik Add
3 Check “Dont’ detect my modem”
4 Pilih “Have Disk”
5 Saat ditanyakan, cari lokasi dimana Anda menyimpan file nmpCDMA2000_1x.inf yang telah Anda download, klik OK
6 Pilih “3G packet Modem”
7 Pilih Port yang paling besar (jangan pilih all ports)
8 Modem Nokia telah terinstall di PC Anda
9 Buat Koneksi Internet baru dengan memilih Nokia 3G packet data sebagai modem

1. Untuk langkah pertama kita bukas CD dari kardus nya(terlalu lama he...)Masukkan CD Instalasi DKU-5 dari Nokia (jangan hubungkan ponsel dengan USB komputer terlebih dahulu)
2. Instalasi Driver DKU-5(dari CD)
3. Masukan DKU-5 dengan di USB
4. Ketika muncul tulisan di form window "found new hardware" kemudian minta drivernya, pilih detect automatically
5. Kabel DKU-5 telah terinstall di PC Anda
6. Kemudian Install driver modem Nokia
2. Instalasi Driver DKU-5(dari CD)
3. Masukan DKU-5 dengan di USB
4. Ketika muncul tulisan di form window "found new hardware" kemudian minta drivernya, pilih detect automatically
5. Kabel DKU-5 telah terinstall di PC Anda
6. Kemudian Install driver modem Nokia

1. Pilih Program > Control Panel > Phone and Modem Options
2. Pilih tab Modem, klik Add

5. Saat ditanyakan, cari lokasi dimana Anda menyimpan file nmpCDMA2000_1x.inf
yang telah Anda download, klik OK(apabila tida detek coba file'inf'di
clik kanan kemudian pilih install
6. Pilih "3G packet Modem"
7. Pilih Port yang paling besar
8. Modem Nokia telah terinstall di PC Anda
9. Buat Koneksi Internet baru dengan memilih Nokia 3G packet data sebagai modem
